Rachel and Danny’s Gherkin wedding started with a queue of guests waiting in the sunshine to go inside The Gherkin and through security checks. At the appropriate time, they were piped into the building reflecting Danny’s Scottish family. Guests went to the 34th floor, where they changed lifts for the 39th where the ushers and Danny were waiting.
Rachel, her mother and bridesmaids arrived on time in a black limousine.

Rachel’s mother walked her down the aisle and lifted off her veil ready for her marriage.
Danny’s usher Andy read A Lovely Love Story by Edward Monkton during the ceremony.
After some champagne and delicious looking canapes, we did a couple of group portraits.

I finished Rachel and Danny’s coverage at their meal, but couldn’t resist sneaking in a couple of extra portraits before I left.
